| blog, blog, blog, blog..... i haven't posted on here in forever. 4 fish today! 2 shown below. it is the pre-spawn right now. i am pretty content with today's catches.  
it seems as though i had a lot more fish last year. i blame the excessively low water levels. a hurricane needs to run through here and get the lakes back to where they should be. i will post again soon (i hope). the spawn is coming...let's hope for a fat one. all right then cu' |

| a couple decent fish::. got these this morning, both on a buzzbait. 
^ six pounds @ 7:55am ^ 
^ four pounds @ 8:40am ^ so i think i'm going to cancel my trip to mn and stay down here. are there six pounders in mn? |

| these movies put me to sleep... nothing big to brag about recently, but here are photos nonetheless (what an awkward sentence). 
5/24 early morning buzzbait. 
5/24 a bit later, black frog. 
5/25 topwater plug. these bass were super white. this was at a fish management pond. it's actually an old phosphate pit. super deep- 25 feet right off the bank. anyways, i was so happy (as you can tell) because we weren't catching anything all morning. i was throwing everything you could think of. i ended up with a good amount of fish for the day, but this one was the biggest and most exciting. it flew completely out of the water when it hit the lure. i swear i was waiting for an hour (by an hour i mean maybe 30 seconds or so) before i set the hook. awesome! anyways, i'll have to go back here again. there were so many fish on the fishfinder and a few folks have told me stories of 10 pounders being pulled out. looking through these pics again... OMFG, what the hell happened to my fingers! ahahah. man, especially the last pic, i'm a freakin alien...hmmm, i have hands like ninja turtles.

| a six pounder today! just got on the water for about 15 minutes and it hit. sweet.
